2 shots out of 5
Let me tell you..........this cocktail will NOT be seducing me ANY time soon! Do not be fooled by it's name, this cocktail is nothing special.......at all. Figures, being Monday night and all, that tonight's cocktail wouldn't be all that good.
I gave tonight's cocktail 2 shots out of 5. I took a big sip for my first sip. HUGE MISTAKE. It burned in a weird way......didn't like it. I think for some reason that it was the Hazelnut liqueur in it that burned my throat. I've taken a few more (smaller) sips since and it didn't burn like that first sip. If you notice my cocktail photo, the Irish Cream looks odd, that was due to my "floating" method.......which we all know I suck at. Now when I look at my cocktail, the Irish Cream has all come together and it literally looks like an "actual" layer. The other two liqueurs though......ah......not so much. I will not be making this cocktail again, No Thank You!
Here is the recipe for a Seduction:
- 1 shot Hazelnut Liqueur
- 1 shot Banana Liqueur
- 1 shot Irish Cream
This cocktail is a "floater", which basically mean that you have to pour each ingredient in a certain order, "on top" of the ingredient below it.
In a short glass, pour your Hazelnut Liqueur. Over the back of a spoon, slowly pour your Banana Liqueur in next. Over the back of that same spoon, slowly pour your Irish Cream on top.

Here is a photo of the ingredients:
Last night the Frangelico was amazing in the Hazelnut Heaven. Tonight it just doesn't work with the other two ingredients. Can't win 'em all.
