Raspberry Banana Colada

Day 122

Raspberry Banana Colada
4 shots out of 5

Let me just start off tonight by saying, Happy 1/3 of the way though my Year of Cocktails to me and to all of you who have been following me.......if not for the entire 122 days, at least for some of them!  I am ABSOLUTELY enjoying writing this blog, but I must say that hearing from all of you is making me love this blog THAT much more!!  I Thank You all for joining me in this journey!

I gave tonight's cocktail 4 shots out of 5.  Today is a VERY hot day and I feel like my eyeballs are melting.......therefore, I pulled out my blender and created something yummy and VERY cold!  It's been a while since I used my raspberry puree, so I decided that tonight was the night to do it.  This cocktail is a very cool, refreshing way to end a HOT day.  I forgot how much I like the flavor of this raspberry puree.  If you enjoy blended cocktails as much as I do (hot day or not), I think you will enjoy a Raspberry Banana Colada!

Here is the recipe for a Raspberry Banana Colada:

  • 2 shots coconut rum
  • 1 shot banana schnapps
  • 2 shots raspberry puree
In a blender, add 1 1/2 cups of ice, rum, banana schnapps and raspberry puree.  Blend it up real good until all of the ice is gone and enjoy!

Here's to raspberry puree and a hot day!

Cheers!
