Happy Friday to you all!!  We made it, the first official week back to school, work and our regular schedule.  Phewph, glad it's over.  I'm very happy to have all of my kids under the roof tonight with my husband and I.  I don't know how I'm going to handle it when the kids start moving out and going to college or what not.

I gave tonight's cocktail 4.5 shots out of 5.   A while ago I had made Christmas Cookie which I truely liked.  After I made it, Renee had commented letting me know that if I switch the peppermint schnapps for cinnamon schnapps my cocktail will become a Gingerbread Cookie and she assured me that it's amazing.  Well she was ABSOLUTELY right!  Oh my goodness this shooter is De-Lish-Us!!  Yum, thank you so very much Renee for you recipe I enjoyed it a little too much!

Here is the recipe for a Gingerbread Cookie:

  • 1/2 oz Bailey's
  • 1/2 oz Kahlua
  • 1/2 oz Goldschlager


In a shaker, add ice and all of the ingredients above.  Shake and strain into a shot glass.

  1. YAY I"m soooooo glad you enjoyed it! I don't think there's ever too much! This is another 'shot' that I like to add a little extra cream liquid and turn into an after dinner drink. Kinda like the cookie w the coffee together in one!
