Banana Mudslide

Day 136

Banana Mudslide
4 shots out of 5

I found a recipe for a Banana Mudslide online and threw all of the ingredients into my blender and gave it a whirl.  I tried it.........and it sucked.  Milk was not a good addition to their recipe.....plus their proportions were off.  Therefore, I dumped it all and started over on my own.

I gave tonight's cocktail 4 shots out of 5.  After I made this cocktail.......it hit me......I've already made a mudslide, so I really should have just used that recipe and added my banana flavoring into it......oh well.  (So I totally just peeked at my recipe for my Mudslide, it was a a little bit different.  I also used cream in the mudslide where the initial cocktail I made tonight asked for milk......milk is NOT a good idea).  All in all tonight's cocktail is good, plus I blended it and when I made my mudslide it was a shaken cocktail, so there's another difference right there.

Here is the recipe for a Banana Mudslide:

  • 1 shot vodka
  • 1 shot creme de banana liqueur
  • 1 shot banana puree
  • 1/2 shot kahlua
  • 1/2 shot irish cream
In a blender add ice and all of your ingredients.  Blend it up real good until all of your ice is gone.  Pour and enjoy!!

Happy Saturday everyone!  Here's to bananas in a mudslide!

Cheers!!
